Hawn's Overlook

When you arrive, the first glimpse of the lake is found at the Ridenour Overlook. Set across from the dam, the beautiful stone wall faces Terrance Mountain, and the man made hydropower dam.

Farther along an adventurous nature path, lies the Hawn Overlook. This oversees another section of the lake. This includes another view of Terrance Mountain, Tussey Mountain, and Baker's Hollow. During the summer, this view allows you experience the joy of boating at Raystown Lake, as it is a popular location to visit. Next you are in the area, head on up and experience the tranquility of the beautiful Raystown Lake.
