Juniata Valley Basketball

During the 2016-2017 basketball year, the Lady Hornet basketball team had a terrific season. Against all odds, the Lady Hornets made it to the state finals, and placed second in state for PIAA girl's basketball. Made up from mostly underclassmen, the girls worked hard all season to earn this title. While not a perfect season, they ended with a 24-6 record. This team grew the community together, as all surrounding county schools were rooting for them. We cannot wait to see what the Juniata Valley Women's Basketball team has in store for us next season!
