The Huntingdon Courthouse is a great addition to our community due to its interesting history and its production in jobs. The courthouse employs roughly 200 jobs to a community on average and brings justice to people, which is an extremely positive thing. The courthouse is also a great place to see some Huntingdon history. The building was originally built in 1797, but it was outgrown by 1842. It then moved locations from the south side of Penn street to where it is now, between 2nd and 3rd street on Penn. M. E. Buffalo created the structure and it received renovations in the 1930s and 1972. One being the large clock tower and the other being office space on the west side of the building.

Go check out this structure and learn a little bit about old Huntingdon when it was two dozen log houses and two taverns! It's a fantastic addition to Huntingdon County society!
